Rebecca lives the life of a Princess. Six year old Rebecca McIlkenny, from Craigavon Northern Ireland, lives with Aplastic Anaemia. Her wish was every young girl's fantasy - to become a princess with her own fairytale castle.
Rebecca and her family began their special experience by travelling to the beautiful Kilkea Castle in Kildare. After her arrival Rebecca relaxed in her castle and had a sumptuous dinner fit for royalty.
The next day saw Rebecca's full transformation into a princess. Her personal chauffeur collected her from the castle and took her to her hair appointment where she was given royal waves. Rebecca then selected a brand new princess wardrobe from Debenhams so that she could really look the part and had sparkle added at the make-up counter.
On her return to Kilkea Castle she was met by a photographer desperate to get some shots of the newly transformed Princess Rebecca. No doubt those photographs will be gracing the society pages in the weeks to come!
After another special dinner, compliments of Kilkea Castle, Princess Rebecca retired to her quarters for a good nights sleep before the next day's journey home.
Princess Rebecca finally headed back to Craigavon knowing in her heart that she would be a princess forever.
